A Stitching Challenge at Some Odd Girl!!

Sorry, I have slipped off the radar slightly. I had a lot going on last week, made me re-look various aspects of my life!!! As a result my creativity went missing, it happens I suppose!!

Anyway, after seeing all the cards for the first new Some Odd Girl clear stamp release I was inspired!! As I have said before, I L-O-V-E these stamps SO SO much, they are my kind of stamps. I decided to play along with their latest challenge which is to use sewing on your card. Easy challenge for me, I sew on my cards ALL the time!!




The Some Odd Girl digi image I used on my card is called "Love Letter Kaylee" and she is available HERE. The recipe card digi image I used as a background stamp is from The Stamping Boutique, I love what it added to my card, and I can see I am going to use this loads, on cards and scrapbook pages!! I won it last week, so that was a bonus!! The sentiment was stamped for me by a dear crafting friend!!

Anita Be Stampin's Amberlee

I have been spending a LOT of time at my craft desk and I am LOVING it!!! I have fallen in love with my Copics all over again and am loving experimenting with them. I wish I could go on one of those Copic Certification classes!! I printed out a new colour chart this morning and have been colouring in all my colours so I have a nice clean & clear chart to match up papers with :)

Anyway, last night I wanted to colour, so I chose one of Anita Be Stampin's new digi images called Amberlee, she is just gorgeous!! She can be purchased HERE, and there are also some lovely sentiments that work so well with her!




I had the most wonderful surprise last week, my on-line friend SHARON sent me a surprise birthday parcel, I was so touched that she thought of me, and sent me a load of nice goodies (I have taken a photo, and it will be one of my Project Life photos which I will post on Tuesday). The lovely papers and trim I used on my card were from Sharon. Thanks so very very much for your kindness Sharon, it means the world to me!!! :)
