Mystery Sock KAL

This is what is keeping my hands busy at the moment. I am taking part in the Mystery Sock KAL over at the Sock Knitters Anonymous Group over at Ravelry.

Once a week you get a new section of the pattern. So far we have been given the cuff, and yesterday the leg portion of the pattern went live.

This is my progress:

It's a stunning pattern don't you think?!? HERE is the link to the group on Ravelry where you can get your hands on this pattern.

Shew, it's been stinking hot here today, 35 Degrees Celsius to be exact. I had a stunning, long & fun swim with Jamie this afternoon :)

FO: Shalom Cardigan

I knitted this cardi as part of a KAL my friend Linda hosted. I have been wanting to knit this pattern for years and I am so glad I did. I might just have to knit it again, I enjoyed it so much!! I am super happy with the way it turned out, and it fits like a glove. Now here's hoping the weather is cooler tomorrow (as the weather-man promised!) so I can wear it :)

I used Elle Earth DK in the colourway Mud Flats held double and used a 5.5mm needle. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Shalom is a free pattern available on Ravelry HERE.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog. I hope I have inspired you to pick up your knitting needles :)

WIP Wednesday - Shalom Cardigan

Hello. Just a quick post to show you the progress on my Shalom Cardigan. I am so enjoying this pattern and am really happy with the way it is knitting up in this yarn. I am knitting this with a bunch of other ladies who are taking part in a KAL organised by Linda. If you would like to take part check out Linda's post here. This pattern is available for free from Ravelry here. There are 4383 other ladies that have knit this pattern, so you know it's gotta be good!!

Thanks for stopping by today. I will be back later with another post. It's Wednesday, so that means the latest sketch is up at Let's Scrap, so I will have that to share with you as well as my layout :)

I'm finished with Clue 2

I have been taking part in the Mystery Sock KAL (Knit a Long)over at Ravelry and I am having so much fun. This is the first time I have taken part in a KAL, and thus far these have been the most complex socks I have knitted. In the past I would have been a little nervous to knit something which I would have viewed as quite difficult, but the pattern is extra easy to read, and I have sailed along with the pattern. If you haven't already signed up, it's not too late. Click on this link and it will take you to the place where you need to sign up. It's great fun and an awesome pattern to knit. I have also started knitting a pair of socks by Cookie A. which are called "Monkey Socks", the free pattern is available at Ravelry, and this is also a gorgeous pattern to knit. I am using my new wool which I mentioned in my previous post and it is knitting up beautifully!!

It's a stunning day here in Dundee today. Hope God blesses you all in some way today. His awesomeness has already touched me this morning!
