Just playing with the latest Let's Scrap sketch!!!

It's been a while since I had the time or inclination just to scrap for fun, so when the urge hit me, I ran with it and just played on Thursday afternoon, the weather was chilly and just perfect to craft. I had the best time, and absolutely love the layout I created. I decided to use the latest sketch from LET'S SCRAP, I was on the DT for 2 terms a while back, and I always enjoyed creating layouts based on their sketches, this one by Debby was no exception!!!

Here is my layout and some close-up shots:

PRODUCTS USED:
~ Large Chippie Title - Enmarc Crafts
~ LOVE letters - Heidi Swapp
~ "Today" button - A Flair for Buttons
~ Dot Border Punch - AnnaBelle Stamps
~ Blue Everyday Life PP - Project Life by Becky Higgins

Here is Debby's lovely sketch, I used the left hand side!!

Sketch Challenge no.16 @ SCRAP AFRICA

Hello, if I do happen to still have some blog readers left, welcome back. I really am sad that my poor blog has been so neglected of late, but my life really has taken a 360 degree turn because my Mom and very elderly & frail Gran have moved in with us. My Mom is opening a coffee shop/cafe here in Dundee, so it has been a life changing time for all of us.

Needless to say my crafting time has been almost non existent!!

I am RATHER late in getting this post up, but here it is!!!! My layout for the latest SCRAP AFRICA sketch challenge!!!!

(Sorry about the rather poor quality of photos I used here, I am really battling to find the best way to photograph my layouts!!)

Here is the fun sketch we got to play with for this challenge!!

Please stop by the SCRAP AFRICA blog for details of the prize up for grabs as well as inspiration from the rest of the fabby SCRAP AFRICA team!!!! You have until the 14th of April to submit your layout!

Workout 81 - I am So Thankful @ ScrapFIT

Hi friends. I have been awfully quiet on the blog front, but it's been with good reason. I had my sister and her sweet girls visiting for a week (we had such a lovely time together!!), and then went down the coast for Christmas. We are now back home, enjoying some relaxing time by the pool, and just enjoying the quiet time before we go back to work on Wednesday next week.

Anyway, I am back to share a layout I created for Workout #81 at ScrapFIT. I gotta say, I adore these photos of my youngest son Jamie, he really does hold my heart very firmly in his little hands!!!!

For this layout I used a gorgeous layout by Maggie Holmes as my inspiration, whenever I see her new layouts posted over at STUDIO CALICO I am inspired to scrap!!!! I used some lovely ENMARC chippies on this page.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, for those who take the time to comment, "thank-you", it means a lot to me!!!

Smiles,
