A sneak peak of the new Cut Files at Some Odd Girl

Hi ladies, just a quick early morning post to share the card I made using the new Rectangle Cut File,
available soon from Some Odd Girl here:

Here is the card I created using one of the rectangle files, I totally LOVE how this one turned out!!!!

I popped the rectangle background on some adhesive foam, to give it some lift, and it really gives a great dimension to the card. I used the super super cute "Tweet Kaylee", she was a joy to colour, you can find her here

I used two of Kristy's awesome tutorials on the colouring of this card. Her yellow shading tutorial which can be found HERE and the hair colouring tutorial which can be found HERE!

SOME ODD GIRL has an amazing special running until the end of today, do yourself a favor and go and check it out.....like now!! :) HERE is the link to the shop!! Click on the DIGITAL STAMPS heading on the left hand side for all the awesome digis up for sale!!

Hope you all have a wonderful happy weekend xxxx

At the beginning of the week I was contacted by the lovely Faye from Some Odd Girl, to ask me if I would like to be a Community Team member at the Ning Site. I was overjoyed and of course said a big "YES". If you have followed my blog for any length of time, you will know that the SOG images are my absolute fave to color with, they just really get my creative juices flowing!!! So....to be a part of this team, to get to work with these yummy images, get sneak peaks of upcoming releases, make friends with wonderful crafty peeps, and to represent Kristy (the owner and designer of Some Odd Girl Stamps, who is the most amazing Copic artist too!!) is an honor.

If you are not already a member of the Ning Site, please stop by and come and join us. It is a great community, with lots of lovely challenges, chats and fun!!!!

I have been playing with Picnic Mae over the last 2 days, using the June Sketch which can be found at the SOME ODD GIRL BLOG, thought I would share my card with you here:

Challenge no.18 - Stencils, Paint and Paste

So I was a bad girl and didn't get my SCRAP AFRICA DT page loaded to our team blog before the cut-off time!! I had created a page for the challenge, but just hadn't gotten around to taking photos yet, so here is my take on the challenge, late, but I am still going to blog about it!! I had SO much fun with this challenge, and am delighted with the way the page turned out. I cut a target shape with my Silhouette Cameo, sprayed some temporary adhesive to the back and then sprayed my cardstock with some Mr Huey's Color Mist. I absolutely ADORE this effect, and will be using this technique again soon!!

I also totally adore these photos of Jamie and his little friend Nikki, she has such spunk that child, and constantly has me in stitches. The 2 get on so well.

So I hope you will find the time to play along with us, it is a great challenge!!!

Look at the prizes up for offer!!

For my page I used the left-hand side of the sketch.
