Morning everyone. Half way through the week, and it's Caide's last exam today, so I am jumping for joy!! And only 1 week until they go on school holidays, yahoo. 2 weeks of down time, really looking forward to it.
The challenge I am talking about today is the challenge over at the Sugar Bowl, and it's the first time I am taking part. The gorgeous little Sugar Nellie stamp is another one that Poala stamped for me, and she is just too dear. I love this image! The card I created is based on this sketch:
It's a really lovely sketch. I actually can't believe I never used to use sketches. Now I enjoy the process of using a sketch SO much, it just takes out all the hard work and leaves the fun bits of putting a card together!
Anyway, here is my card and close-up of my colouring:
I had better be off. I have a hectic few days ahead. I am frantically trying to make a batch of cards for Friday. My sister is selling flowers at a flea market in Scottburgh, and she has asked me for some cards for her table. I am going to give them to my Mom when she comes to watch Caide taking part in SACSSA at Kings Park on Friday. Hope you are all having a great week!

Beautiful! You are so talented!!
Beautiful card and coloring! Good luck with the craft fair and I'm sure your cards will sell great!
Thanks for joining the SB challenge and hope to see you in the next one too! Have a wonderful day!
Hi Rene, on the envelope question, I was lucky enough to get a whole box of 15 x 15cm envelopes from work. Nice white ones, which they didn't need anymore. I would also love to know where to buy them.
I have an envelope maker though and it works really well, just easier if they're already made ;-)
Great card!
Rene!!
Your card is soooo beautiful and the coloring amazing!!
I am so jealous! This is a beautiful stamp. She is gorgeous and you've coloured her in so beautifully. Overall a lovely card. Well done!
