Product Challenge @ Scrapbook Challenges

So my friend and fellow DT gal, Jolanda is hosting her first challenge the Product Challenge over at Scrapbook Challenges, and when I saw all the items she had included in her challenge I just knew I had to take part!!

Something to Share

My friend Linda over at Natural Suburbia hosts a "Creative Friday" over at her blog, and it has proved useful to me as motivation to post about some of my knitted goodies.

Today I am going to share one of my favourite knits, a simple cardi called Nimbus. This is one of my favourite knits so far, and I wore it a lot this winter. And what was even better was that I knit it in 3 days. Have a look.





The pattern can be found HERE at Ravelry (the best knitting site ever!!!), and the best thing is it's free! I knit this with Elle Merino Tweed, and held the wool double.

Sketch ABSC030 @ Annabelle Stamps

Hi all. Hope you have had a great week so far! Mine was absolutely hectic, but I am smiling from ear to ear, because today is a public holiday here in SA, and the kids on now on school holiday!!

We have planned for a day trip to Natal Spa today so we should have a fun day in the sun, swimming and some super tubing for the kids!

So, onto business. We have a new sketch challenge for you over at Annabelle Stamps! It is another goodie put together by the talented Andrea :)

I used the wonderful "Party Animals 1" set for my card. I adore all the gorgeous images included in this set. For those that may not have seen this set, have a look:

Preview 2 - Hooo Loves Christmas

Hello ladies. Welcome back to my blog, so happy to have you here! Today we are reviewing the second of 3 new sets being released in September, this one is called "Hooo Love Christmas?" If you thought "Santa's Star" was a cute set, just wait until you see this one. It really has the most gorgeous images included in this set. Have a look for yourself!

For this review I just had to play with more of the stamps included in the set, so I made a card and a Christmas tag. I decided to go for less conventional colours for the Christmas card. Do you want to see what I created?

This is my oldest son Caide's school page for his album. I normally really battle to put these pages together, but with the help of this sketch, the page just fell together. I am probably going to make this a double page, adding his class photo to page 2.

Creative Fridays @ Natural Suburbia

Hi all. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I am sad it's nearly over !! :(
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here today, and we spent some lovely time outside and under our lapa this morning. Just wonderful!!

My friend Linda over at Natural Suburbia does a feature over at her blog called Creative Fridays where she has a link for all to share their wonderful creations. I am slightly late, but wanted to share a shawl I finished at the beginning of the year, but only recently got around to taking photos of!!





The pattern is called Multnomah, and this is the second time I have knit this pattern. You can find all the details on my Ravelry page HERE.

Back to School at Teddy Stampers

Yay, yay it's Friday!! Wow it has been another busy week!! Hubby fell off his motorbike last weekend, so we have had to contend with him hobbling around on crutches all week. Thankfully the injury to his ankle isn't as bad as we initially thought, so hopefully he will be on the mend soon!!!

So onto our new challenge at Teddy Stampers. For people living in the Northern Hemisphere it is back to school time for the kids, so that is why our theme for our next challenge is Back to School.

Say it with Sprinkles!!

If you are someone who has spent any time here at my blog, you will surely know that I LOVE my Sprinkles!!!! I use them on all my cards, and on nearly every one of my scrapbook pages too. They really are the perfect little gems to add the right finishing touch to a project. They come in the cutest little jars that are stackable, and they stand proudly on my desk ready to be pounced on!!


So our challenge for this week at Annabelle Stamps is say it with Sprinkles!!! :)
