Color Combo's Galore, Challenge 110 & Latest Sketch @ Let's Scrap

I am going to be sharing 2 layouts with you today. The first one is one I created with the latest color palette from Colour Combos Galore. I am combining it with the latest challenge at Let's Scrap, which is to create a layout with a woven background. Here is my layout:

A Card for a Few Challenges!!

Just a quick post tonight. I am trying to help Caide with his project that is due on Friday. He has quite a lot on this week, and Bryce is leaving to go on tour on Wednesday. I created this card for a couple of challenges, I wasn't too sure about it initially, but it really has grown on me!!!

A textured Shawl for Creative Friday

Hi All.

It's been AGES since I shared a FO with you here on my blog. So today I would like to show you the Textured Shawl I completed recently. I am going to link this post up to my friend Linda's Creative Friday.

I am so happy with the way this one turned out!! I have been loving having something warm to wrap around my neck this winter!!

The yarn was the gorgeous yarn from the last Nuturing Fibres Club and is called Autumn Mosaic, isn't it stunning!?! Carle really does produce the most stunning yarn. I am a huge fan!!!

And just another quick share, this is the project I am currently working on. I am supposed to be knitting it with my sister, but she is streaks ahead!!

I really need your help!!!

Color Combos Galore Layout - CCG #205

I decided to play along with the latest Color Combos Galore challenge, it is a lovely girly palette, and I don't often get to do this type of page! The photo I have scrapped was taken using the self timer on my camera, when Ray and I went away for the night for our anniversary in May. It was just lovely and such a treat for us!!

I am also entering this layout in the latest sketch challenge at ONCE UPON A SKETCH, my page is based on their lovely sketch!! An added challenge to the sketch is this: Journaling Criteria: Write AT LEAST 2 sentences from the lyrics of your favourite song.

I added the words from our wedding song - Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion to my page, it really does capture the way I feel about my amazing hubby!!

A lot of the product I used on my page is from the latest Noel Mignon kit, I really adore Noel's kits because they are always jam packed with gorgeous goodies. Why don't you check it out!!

Color Combo #205

AnnaBelle Stamps is celebrating it's 2nd Birthday!!!

So as some of you may know I was on the DT for AnnaBelle Stamps for quite some time, I really enjoyed my time as part of the team and was really sad when my term came to an end. Color Combos Galore Layout

It's another freezing cold day here in Dundee, apparently there is snow in surrounding towns again. I don't ever remember getting snow twice in a season before!!

Anyway, moving on!! I have been a member at Color Combos Galore for quite some time, but I have yet to do a layout based on one of their lovely palettes. My fellow scrapper Helen Tilbury is on the DT at Color Combos, and I have seen some of her lovely layouts, and have been inspired. Here is this weeks inspiration board, gorgeous hey!?!

Month Long Challenge @ Let's Scrap

As well as the weekly sketch challenges, and weekly DT challenges, there is also a monthly challenge that runs at Let's Scrap. This month's challenge is to create a layout based on this lovely Becky Fleck sketch.

This is my beautiful Mom (as the title of the page would indicate) on her wedding day last year. I love the way this page turned out too.
