Sketch # 199 at Creative Scrappers

I have always found the sketches at Creative Scrappers awesome, and when I felt like creating a page, I went there in search of inspiration. Of course I found it, in the form of one of their lovely sketches and the DT girls inspirational pages.

Here is the page I created about my youngest son's swimming achievements, I am so happy with the way this one turned out!!!

Here is the sketch, I rotated it to to accommodate my landscape photos!

It's a good one don't you think?!?

So a few of the products I used on my page were part of my purchase from the Scrapbook Studio, the yummy patterned papers, Tim Holtz mask (I LOVE the effect these masks give to a page!), and American Crafts border punch (I can tell this is going to be my new fave!). So go and visit the Scrapbook Studio to see some of the lovely products they stock at excellent prices.

I am off to the doctor shortly, Jamie has a really high temp!!

A Creative Scrappers Sketch

I received my parcel from Scrapbook Studio yesterday, and of course having new goodies to play with, put me in the mood to scrap!!!

I confess, I have got a bit behind with my photos this year, so I really should be scrapping older photos than ones that I took last month, but when I saw Sketch #190 over at Creative Scrappers, I knew I had to use this gorgeous photo. Check it out:

This is my Mom and all her "little" grandbabies, I LOVE this photo, and am so happy I got it scrapped!

Two of the products that I received in my parcel from Scrapbook Studio are the stamp, it's by Ali Edwards (I have been wanting to buy some of her stamp sets for the longest time!!!) and the gorgeous EK Success Donut Chain border punch. I also ADORE this punch, and see I am going to use it loads!!! For you South African scrappers out there, check out the Scrapbook Studio, they have loads of awesome products, and they give great service!!

So, moving on, here is the Creative Scrappers sketch I based my layout on:

It's a nice one don't you think?!?

I am also entering this layout in a misting challenge over at 2Peas in a Bucket!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, I would really love for you to say "hi" while you are here :)

I have discovered a new world at Creative Scrappers

** SCROLL DOWN FOR THE ANNABELLE STAMPS REVIEW POST **

So I was doing a bit of blog surfing at the beginning of this week when I discovered a "new to me" site called Creative Scrappers. It is wonderful!! There is a new sketch posted every week, and the layouts that the DT girls do is awesome. They are currently doing a DT call, which I had to apply for, so hold thumbs for me!!

This weeks sketch is No. 117:

And here is my layout which is based on this sketch:

I had so much fun putting this page together. I used quite a lot of stamping on the page, I especially love how the tree stamp in the right hand corner of the page came out. It is an Annabelle Stamp from the set called "Tree-Men-Dous". I simply inked it with Versamark and stamped it onto my page. You can purchase this stamp set HERE!

If you would like to know anything else about this page feel free to ask.

Hope you are having a great week xx
