This is a photo taken of me and my sis, sitting & knitting, in our p.j's! I have always loved knitting, but it used to be something I would do exclusively in winter. There is nothing better than pulling out your needles and creating something warm and cosy for the chilly weather! But the bug has bitten again, smack in the middle of our hideously hot summer. I am trying to challenge myself a bit more now, I used to knit lots of scarves, but I have a lovely pattern for a cardi type jersey with a lace pattern, and so far so good. I have taken some photos, but am having a bit of a problem uploading them. So hopefully soon.Today I am going to post 2 photos of the little notebooks I made for my family as extras for Christmas. They all seemed to like them, hopefully they will be used. The stamp I used is one by Hero Arts, and I paper pieced the cupcake wrapper.

What a major surprise to see a photograph of myself looking half asleep on your blog! I certainly hope to see some photos of the progress of your cardi soon - little sister must add her 2 cents worth. I need to get back to my knitting soon - I haven't knitted since I found my way down the south coast if you can believe it?
