Project Life - Week 6

Thanks for stopping by again this week. It's been a rather bumpy one for me and hubby, but I guess you have those! Here are my photos for the week!

While I was outside early this morning I noticed the sun peeping through the trees. What a gorgeous start to the day! Of course my sidekick had to be in the photo!

I got some good news this morning! I have won a prize for a scrapbook page that I entered into a competition over the weekend. I am so chuffed! Apparently the prize is worth about R450.00 so I can’t wait to receive it!

I wanted to take a photo of the new sun hats that the school provided for the kids. The boys look so cute wearing them! I took 4 photos and Bryce blinked in every one! This is the best of the bunch. My funny boys!

Today is a very happy day for me, my Project Life kit arrived safe & sound! I had been extremely worried about it, because I had bought it from New Zealand, and the postage cost as much as the kit, and it didn’t even have a tracking number! The product is awesome and I am so glad I bought it!

I’m back! Back at work that is!! It really has been a stressful week. At the beginning of the week we discovered the lady in the office had been “borrowing” money, which she was failing to pay back!

This morning I got up at the ridiculous time of 3:55am to cast on for the Ravelympics! It was loads of fun. I found a live audio broadcast of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics and chatted online with a whole bunch of ladies from all over the world. Very cool!

We had a lovely quiet Valentines Day. Ray went to so much effort using the self-timer to take a photo of him and the boys. He didn’t even know how to use my camera, how to download the photos or use my printer programme! We also went out to lunch at the Golf Club, just the 2 of us, which was such a treat!

I received so many lovely comments last week, and I appreciate every single one of them!!! It is so awesome to be able to connect with women from all over the world!

I forgot to put in my last comment, that was really sweet of your husband to do that. The best gifts usually aren't bought at the store they are the ones that come from the heart. It was sweet that he went thru all the trouble to surprise you with that. My husband does stuff like that too. Have a good week.

Congratulations on the prize - I can't wait to see what it is!
Love the picture with the sun peeking through the trees, and I love how green it it there. Missing color, since all we have is white right now. Hope this week is going better!

Awesome news about winning the page contest. You need to take a photo of your page and post it. I would love to see it. Great idea you husband did for you on vday! And such a good photo of your adorable family. Sorry to hear you have been drifting away from your extended family. I know that is hard.

Love our pictures! And a little jealous that we're in the middle of winter and your boys are in swim trunks! (Although we had a few inches of snow Friday and that made winter totally worth it!)

I hope this next week is better for you than last week. Aren't there always ups and downs in marriage and families?

I love to knit, too! I'm not sure I could get up at 3:55 to do it, though! I'd more likely stay up that late!

I love the picture of your boys in their hats and the one of the sun shining through the trees.

By the way, you want to trade some of that green for some of my white? I'm starting to wonder if there really is grass under all this snow. ;o)

Rene, so fun to see "life" there in SA! Amazing to me that the world has become so "small" now. Your pictures are great! Thanks for sharing.

While I have not ever competed in a triathlon, I do love to work out... bike, step aerobics, etc. My brother-in-law is an Iron Man triathlete. He competed in Hawaii this past year! Wow!

Nice to meet you here!
