Preview 4 - Floral Silhouettes Stamp Set

This morning I will be previewing the final set being released this month, the Floral Silhouettes Set. My parcel with my new stamps arrived yesterday, and OMG, each and every set is absolutely stunning. The very best quality and each set is jam packed with images & sentiments. I am a very happy & blessed lady to be a part of the team for this amazing company, and my boss Andrea is the BEST!!

So enough gushing, here is the set!!


Absolutely fab don't you think. So many images & sentiments in one set. So... this time I have been lucky enough to play along with the other DT girls. Yipee.

Preview 3 - Sentimental Bluebells

I just LOVE this next set that I am previewing for you. It is gorgeous and is one of those sets that you will use time and time again!!


This is one set I am really sad I didn't get to work with for these previews. Stunning don't you think??

Say it with....an Easel Card

Morning ladies. Wow, bright and early here in Dundee 4:15am!! Just put the kettle on for my first cup of tea for the day and I will now tell you about the Annabelle Challenge for the week.

As my title would indicate, our challenge is to make an Easel Card. I have a confession to make, I had, until yesterday, NOT made an easel card before!!! I had seen them around, and was always so impressed by them, they looked so stylish and elegant and hard to make!!! So....when I saw what the Annabelle Challenge was I must admit to being a bit nervous and apprehensive about it. SO...I did what I do a lot of, I surfed the net for an easel card tutorial. The first one I came upon was a fabulous tutorial and showed just how easy it is to make an easel card, and I ended up LOVING the process. Little work for a lot of impact. So without further ado, here is my card.....




I used the "Flowers with Love" set, which has now become my favourite set. It just makes putting a card together SO easy. This set and the lovely brown Sprinkles used on my card are available from Annabelle Stamps.

As you may have seen we have reviewed 2 new Annabelle Stamp sets this week, and we have another 2 to go. I will be blogging about it again tomorrow, so I hope you will stop by again then!!

Preview 1 - Tree-MEN-dous Stamp Set

Morning all.

This morning I am here to show you the first new stamp set being released by Annabelle Stamps, and it really is a fabulous set!! I don't make many men cards, mainly because I just don't have the stamps to use, so I can't wait to get my hands on this set!! I have 3 sons & 1 husband, so quite a few men in my life, so it is going to be wonderful to be able to use this set to make cards for all of them!

We had a few hiccups with this release, so some of the Design Team missed out on receiving our stamp sets in time to make some projects, which we were all quite sad about. BUT someone does have the sneak peek of the next set to be released, and I wonder who can that be? Summer Bears at Teddy Stampers

Hope all my overseas readers are enjoying some warm summer weather, to match my Summer Bear card! (Here in SA we are in the middle of our winter, and this morning it was FREEZING!!).

Say it in ... green & pink

Morning everyone!! It's Friday so that means a new challenge is up at Annabelle Stamps!! The theme for this week is "Say it in... green & pink". So we would love for you to play along with us!!! Have a look at what I have come up with. My card is featured on the Annabelle Stamps Blog this week so I am super excited about that!




I used the main image from the "Jasmine's Cupcake" set. This is a gorgeous image and is so perfect for lovely girly cards!! I added some Olive Green Sprinkles and used my new Martha edger punch for some detail. I coloured the image with my Copics.

SOME EXCITING NEWS!! Annabelle Stamps is releasing a new range of stamps, which are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! I will be posting some sneak peaks from the 15th, so please drop by my blog to check these out!!

I have always been a Rupert fan!! I coloured my image with my Copics and the red embellies are called Sprinkles. The sentiment is from a stamp set called "Flowers with Love", and both this stamp set and the Sprinkles are available from Annabelle Stamps. The sponsor for this challenge is Squigglefly!

ABSC023 - A new Sketch Challenge at Annabelle!

Morning all. Bright and early here SA time, 5:00am!! So....it's Friday, and that means it's time for another sketch challenge over at the Annabelle Bling Challenge. It was another fun sketch to work with, and I love all the different cards the DT came up with!!


And here is my card with a few detailed photos too!!





For my card I used 3 different sets ~ The flower is from the "Floral Stems" set, the sentiment is from the "Flowers with Love" set and the 2 little squiggles on either side of the flower are from the "Helen's Party" set. I also used some gorgeous(these are my favourite colour so far) Olive 6mm Sprinkles. The purple flower is a white one I got from Annabelle, and just coloured with my Copics! All these items are available from Annabelle Stamps. The products available there are absolutely wonderful!! Remember Andrea also stocks Copics, and with the Rand Australian dollar exchange rate, they work out to be really reasonably priced. For my South African friends I urge you to check out the shop!!

This page is about my youngest son Jamie sharing a special moment with his great-granny. My Gran turns 80 later this month, so I am so happy to have captured these photos of the two together!

Today I wanted to take a photo of my view as I sit in the car waiting to pick up the boys after school. Both Caide & Bryce thought I was mad when they say me sitting in the car trying to take a photo of them!!

Today I decided to take a close-up photo of the beautiful orange honey-suckle bush that grows by our front door, it really does make a beautiful show, and I love it!!

As you may know I am an obsessive scrapbooker, it is a hobby I have been passionate about since 2005. For me this is a huge creative outlet, and the fact that I am preserving my families memories vividly is awesome. Today I wanted to take a photo of my flower drawer, the colours and textures in this drawer make me happy!! :)

The boys were playing in the drive-way AGAIN this afternoon, and today I wanted to get a photo of Jamie whizzing down the drive on his black bike. He takes after his brothers and is a little dare-devil. I love the way this photo turned out!

This morning we woke up to the most breath-taking sunrise. It was absolutely gorgeous!! It was so strong and vivid that it cast the whole inside of the house with a soft pink glow. A very special way to start the day!

Yesterday Ray came home with a big South African flag which we have now placed on our front verandah. We are trying to get into the spirit of the World Cup Soccer and show that we are proudly South African!!

Lately Jamie loves to lie on the floor to watch t.v. His favourite is Ben 10. I really need to do a scrapbook page on his Ben obsession. Anyway, today he fell asleep while watching t.v., and I just had to take a photo of his adorable pose.


Hope you are all keeping well. We are having a very busy week here. It is Caide's birthday tomorrow. Can't believe my baby is turning 11. I wish the time would slow down!!
