Project Life: Week 07/02-13/02

NapTime MomTog Project 365

Hello and welcome back to my blog today. I am so happy that you stopped by!!!

Here are last weeks photos, enjoy!!

MONDAY: I have been spending some more time in my spinning/knitting room, and am really enjoying it. It's funny how I go through the different phases with all the hobbies I have. I have spun some lovely wool lately. It's such a wonderful feeling to complete a skein of homespun yarn!!

TUESDAY: A close-up of our curious and very brave chicks. When you come into their hock they are all over you, especially when you have some food in your hands!!

WEDNESDAY: Today was such a proud for me. Today my 3½ year old son got his Water Safety Badge. He really has come along in leaps and bounds with his swimming, and I am so happy that he, like his two brothers, loves the water!! Also think his scrunched up cap face is just too cute!!

THURSDAY: Today is my 2nd day back running, and I couldn't be happier. Since going back to work I have let my exercising rountine lapse terribly, and I have been feeling a bit depressed about it. Now I can feel what has been missing in my life, and I realise I NEED to excercise to be a complete person. I am running on a Tuesday, Thursday & Friday and look forward to getting back into a healthier way of life!!! Yes, I am very hot and sweaty!!

FRIDAY: My very cute boys with their very cute chicks. I love that they are learning a little about self-sustainable living. They really love going to check on how many eggs have been laid every day, and don't mind mucking in to clean the hock and to give the chicks fresh food and water.

SATURDAY: Well Jamie has taken a couple more steps since getting his badge on Wednesday. He is now swimming the whole width of the pool. We decided to practise over the weekend, and I demonstrated to him how he should try and swim with his face in the water, then lift his head up to breath, and then put it back in the water again. He copied me to a tee, and can now swim. We are beyond happy!!!!!

SUNDAY: We went out to lunch today for a early Valentines Day celebration. We went to the Lodge and enjoyed a delicious meal and a wonderful couple of hours together, the boys were on their best behaviour too!! Thanks for a lovely lunch Babe!

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my little space. I really do appreciate any comments that are left, they mean so much so me!!!

These are great pictures. I can't believe your boys can hold those chickens and not get pecked, I'd be too afraid. Congrats on the swimming badge, that is awesome. How fun to have a room for knitting, relaxing. Enjoy your week.

I am so jealous you have have a spinning/knitting room! I've always wanted to learn to spin my own yarn, but I can barely knit!
