Project Life Weeks 23/5-29/5 & 30/5-5/6

NapTime MomTog Project 365

I am sorry about missing my Project Life photos last week, but with the passing of my MIL on the 30th, life has changed somewhat!! It has been a very sad and hard week!! As a result I have 2 weeks worth of photos to share with you today.

MONDAY: I found the perfect buttons for my newly completed Shalom Cardi. I am so happy with the way this FO has turned out, and it fits like a glove!

TUESDAY: Jamie brought me this lovely flower from the garden and I had to put it in water on display in the lounge. If you notice his right hand is a bit chubbier than the left because he was stung by something at school today!

WEDNESDAY: This is our nightly ritual, me reading Jamie a story before he goes to sleep. Kimmy gave Caide this book years ago and it has been Jamie's favourite night time story book!

THURSDAY: It was late when I realised I hadn't taken a POTD, so Brycie taking a bite out of his doughnut was the best I could do!

FRIDAY: We had our first frost last night, quite late into the season. The talk about town is that it is going to be quite a cold winter, we will have to wait and see!

SATURDAY: I have been loving making cards lately. I am enjoying my Magnolia stamps (aren't they cute!), and playing with my Copics. This is a great way of to get a quick crafty kick!!

SUNDAY: When I was hanging up the washing I looked up and saw this beautiful sight. The sky looked so blue through the yellow and orange leaves of the tree!!

WEEK 30/5 - 5/6

MONDAY: Our hearts are broken that we had to loose you so quickly and suddenly!! You still had so much to give!! We will miss you every day Nana! I love this photo taken on our wedding day, she looked so happy and pretty!

TUESDAY: Jamie drew me a little pig today, and I was so taken with the details, especially the curly little tail!

WEDNESDAY: My mom arrived today to give us some support, be here for Caide for his birthday, and for the Memorial Service which is to be held on Friday. I am SO happy to have you here Mom!!

THURSDAY: Happy 12th birthday Caide, I can't believe how time is flying by, it is going way too quickly. I am so happy that you managed to have a good day despite all the sadness around you. I hope the year ahead is fantastic for you my special boy!!

FRIDAY: Keagan came to sleep over and you watched some DVD's, one being Spud and we had pizza and ice-cream. Hope you enjoyed your afternoon and evening. You and Bryce were so brave at the Memorial Service this morning. I am so proud of you both!

SATURDAY: Ray took some much needed "me" time and put together his Wing Dragon plane last night. He also took it out for it's first flight which ended disastrously with it crashing into pieces. My heart nearly broke for him!!!

SUNDAY: I wanted to get a photo of Mom with the boys before she left this morning. Unfortunately Jamie was not up to smiling because he has a BAD throat infection. I love the photo anyway!! Thanks so much for being here for us this week Mom. I love you more than you will ever know!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit me here today, I hope you will drop by again next week :)

Hey Ne'
Such a sad week for the family and I'm so so sorry for your loss - Anne was a wonderful lady and I know the gap she has left won't be filled. I'm so proud of all of you for getting through it all and I'm really glad that Mom was there to take the load off a little bit.
Great photo's again this fortnight - I love the autumn leaves shot and the first frost! I must remember to ask Geoff what the pretty flower is that Jamie brought in for you! Congrats on the Shalom - it really is stunning.
Lots of love

It's good to see your posts again. Gorgeous flower and leaves. I also love the frost and think those buttons you found are just perfect. That little pig your son drew is awesome and the picture of you reading to him is priceless.

Rene I am always captivated with your photo posts - you really have an eye for some great things - just loving the little chubby hands on the bowl with the pretty flower & that gorgeous blue sky through those magnificent leaves! I am sorry for you & your family and the trials you have had to endure lately. I am loving the detailed cards I am seeing here too...no idea how to stamp perfectly - copic markers & the like!

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Sending you hugs and prayers and happy thoughts to get thru this tough time. My heart is breaking about his plane too, how sad after all the work he put on it. Love love the fall leaves/blue sky photo, stunning. What a cool way to show the frost you have, we are just celebrating the first day of summer here and going to hot and sunny. Happy 12 birthday to your oldest. Time does fly even when we don't want it too. I just went to my oldest college graduation. Have a good week. ((HUGS))
