Firstly....we are celebrating 1 year since we opened our AnnaBelle Stamps store and we have a little surprise for someone, a $20.00 gift voucher to spend in store! So if you'd like to join in our blog hop for your chance to win you'll need to start at the AnnaBelle Blog and follow the link to your next blog. Simply leave a comment as you go :)There are so many wonderful goodies in the Annabelle Shop, so this is a wonderful prize.

****The next person you need to visit is JERUSHA, go and leave a comment on her blog :)****

On a personal note, it has been an absolute pleasure to have been involved with Andrea and Annabelle Stamps. Andrea has the biggest kindest heart, and is amazingly generous. The stamp sets that she has produced are of the highest quality, and are just wonderful to work with. So Andrea, from me to you...a HUGE thank-you for all that you have done for me and the other DT girls in the time we have been working for you :)

We also have a new challenge for you this week, and that is to create a GREY & YELLOW card. I don't think I have ever used this color combo on a card before, but when I put this card together I was pleasantly surprised, it really works!!

Here is my card:

I used the gorgeous "Branch Out" stamp set for this card. I love this set because I find it is super easy to use to make a more masculine type card. I also added some yummy Pineapple Sprinkles, also by Annabelle Stamps. Here is just a look at the rest of the stamps included in the "Branch Out" set.

I really hope you will Blog Hop with us!!! As far as the challenge goes, you have 2 weeks to make your card, and link it to the Annabelle Blog. You also have 1 week left to take part in the Sketch Challenge to stand a chance to win the "Diva" stamp set.

Please stop back here later today. I am participating in another Hop, this time for Scrapbook Challenges, and there are some SPECTACULAR (I mean really SPECTACULAR) prizes up for grabs :)

Product Challenge @ Scrapbook Challenges

Hello! So I just posted today's challenge over at Scrapbook Challenges.

My challenge is to use the following products on your layout:

1. A border punch! I find I use my border punches ALL the time, they just finish off a strip of patterned paper perfectly!

2. A banner! I created my banner myself, but you could use cut patterned paper or any other bought product for this item.

3. A machine or hand cut title! I used my Slice machine to cut my title.

OR

You could replace one of the above items and instead create a stamped embellishment. This is such a fun thing to do on a scrapbook page!!

So do you want to see my page??

Some of the products I used on this layout are:

- Border Punch - Fiskars
- Red Gems are called Sprinkles and are available here. I have these in a whole range of colors and use them on most of my pages!
- Slice & Design card used: Think Pink
- Colored staples by Making Memories
- Owl stamp - part of a set by Simon Says

So.... I would LOVE for you to play along. Come and join us at Scrapbook Challenges and link your page!! Enjoy the rest of your day x

Fabric Tuesday's at Quiltstory

Fresh Poppy Design

So the two awesome sisters Heather & Megan over at Quiltstory had the idea to start "Fabric Tuesday's" over at their blog. The idea is to link your fabric creation.

So today I am going to share a cushion I made last month. I made it with the left-over fabric from my first ever quilt, the Avignon Picnic quilt, which I blogged about here.

Please don't get me wrong, I love this cushion way more than the face in my photo would indicate :)

Check out Quiltstory to see all the other wonderful fabric creations!!

Say it with a Bow @ Annabelle Stamps

Morning ladies. I am back with our Friday challenge over at Annabelle Stamps. Sorry I am a bit late with this, but it has been another crazy week. For those that don't know our country is in chaos at the moment with all the strikes that are going on!! It is quite scary how a group of people can just hijack the country!! Bryce has been told to stay at home for the last 2 days because the mobs are going to schools and are intimidating the kids and teachers! Caide is away on tour in Durban and I have been worrying so much about him. It is awful to have your child far away from you when all this frightening stuff is going on. So, hence the lateness with this card. Better late than never, right???

So as the heading of this post would indicate our challenge for this week is to post a card with a lovely bow on it. For me this wasn't a difficult challenge because I use bows on my cards often. I think it just finishes off a card perfectly. And then to work with some lovely new Annabelle Stamps...well, just fun!! I used the "Thoughtful Stems" set for the image and the "Branch Out" set for the sentiment. The brown little gems on the butterflies and the gorgeous brown ribbon are also available from Annabelle Stamps! Here is my card.

I hope you will play along with us in this fun and easy challenge. Once you have created your card with a bow link it to the Annabelle Blog.

Remember you still have another week to take part in the Sketch Challenge. (Scroll down for details). There is a great prize up for grabs!!

Also stop by the Annabelle Shop to buy the wonderful new sets that were released this week!! :)

Caide is getting home this afternoon so I can't wait for that. Hope you all have a happy crafty weekend. xxx

I have discovered a new world at Creative Scrappers

** SCROLL DOWN FOR THE ANNABELLE STAMPS REVIEW POST **

So I was doing a bit of blog surfing at the beginning of this week when I discovered a "new to me" site called Creative Scrappers. It is wonderful!! There is a new sketch posted every week, and the layouts that the DT girls do is awesome. They are currently doing a DT call, which I had to apply for, so hold thumbs for me!!

This weeks sketch is No. 117:

And here is my layout which is based on this sketch:

I had so much fun putting this page together. I used quite a lot of stamping on the page, I especially love how the tree stamp in the right hand corner of the page came out. It is an Annabelle Stamp from the set called "Tree-Men-Dous". I simply inked it with Versamark and stamped it onto my page. You can purchase this stamp set HERE!

If you would like to know anything else about this page feel free to ask.

Hope you are having a great week xx
