I am a bit late in getting my photos up this week, but better late than never right?!?!
MONDAY: I really enjoy hanging the washing now that we have moved the wash line. It was even more pretty today because of all the falling leaves. I love being able to enjoy all the improvements we have made in the house and garden.
TUESDAY: Because Monday and Wednesday were both public holidays, Ray decided to close the business for today. We took a lovely trip to Newcastle to do a bit of shopping. Unfortunately Ray had a bit of a run in with a pole while having diagnostics done on the car, which put a bit of a damper on the day. The highlight for the boys was the trip to MacDonalds!!
WEDNESDAY: The boys have been spending days in the veld across the road from our house building a track to their yet to be acquired new remote control cars. I am just happy that they are playing constructively like boys their ages should. Here Caide is pictured with Keagan.
THURSDAY: One of the things I purchased on Tuesday was a new tennis racquet, which I have been needing for years. This afternoon we all went to play a bit of tennis. I packed a few snacks and we headed for the courts. It was fun, if not a bit frustrating. I think the boys thought they would be better than they actually were. We need to practise!
FRIDAY: Today was the Royal Wedding, and wow, what a wedding it was. I sat glued to the t.v. all morning watching the day unfold, and in my opinion it was just spectacular. I enjoyed every single little aspect of their special day. She was just stunning, the ceremony was delightful. It truly was a fairy tale day!!
SATURDAY: It was the Uelzen Bazaar today, it was a lovely afternoon out. The trees in the area are all old and are looking resplendent in all their Autumn colours. This really is my favourite time of the year. The kids had a ball, and Jamie especially enjoyed the tractor ride!!
SUNDAY: I spent some quiet time watering the garden this afternoon. It was lovely me time. This is the time of the day that I LOVE to be out in the garden, it is cool, and quiet and great for "thinking" time. We are so blessed to live in such a lovely house and to have such a nice big garden!!
THANKS so much for taking the time to visit my blog, I really do appreiciate it so much!!

Looks like a great week. Love that last photo. My hubby has Remote Trucks too. Very cool.
Great pictures this week. I love seeing what your boys are up to,they always have fun ideas. The wedding was beautiful and so sweet. Love that last picture with you and your boys. Have a great week and relaxing mother's day.
Great photos, love the laundry shot!
The clothes line is perfect. Many places here don't allow them because they are "unsightly" but I grew up in the country with one and they remind me of home plus it's a great way to save energy. Looks like a fabulous week for you.
I enjoyed having a little peek into your week...great pics!

Lovely photos, I love the idea of taking a photo every day, capturing a moment to remember from each day...
I always LOVE your photo posts Rene! Shows me what a different lifestyle you have just a few hundred km's away. We are flat out - things are such a pace here & the schooling at the coast is relentless - it starts with the sparrows & ends with the owls :(
