Today I decided to share a little project I am working on. It's something I pick up now and again inbetween other projects. I am crocheting a granny square throw. Knitting will always come first, but I learnt to crochet from my Granny many many years ago!!

I am linking this post to my friend Linda's Creative Friday post. She really has the most wonderful blog called Natural Suburbia that I find so inspiring, go and check it out :)

So do you think that's why they call them granny squares? I learned to crochet from my granny too! I've kind of lost the skill. I knit, but am looking forward to picking up crochet again. I think I'll start with granny squares in honor of dear 'ol gran!
