I made the Southern Girls DT!!!!
Hi all, just a quick post to let you know I made the Southern Girls Design Team!! It feels good to be back on a team, and I have had such a warm welcome there. I am on team Lou and my first challenge will be towards the end of April. It's a bi-weekly challenge blog, the challenges going live every alternate Wednesday (the latest challenge went live yesterday), and there are 2 teams, so it means only 1 project per month for me!
You can check out the announcement HERE!
Just to update you on Jamie. He is finally on the mend. Yesterday afternoon (after being sick for a solid week!), he finally perked up. We managed to get him to eat a bit. He is still petrified after his lumba punch experience a few days ago (my FB friends know more details about this). Thanks for all the love and concern!! :)

Project Life Week 19/3- 25/3
Morning, trying to get this done before I leave for my early morning jog! It has been a busy week, and I can't say one of the best I have had, Jamie has been horribly sick since Wednesday, and as I type this on Monday morning, he is still not well, so I am going to have to take him back to the doctor this morning!!
Part of the parcel of goodies I got from the Scrapbook Studio. Makes me happy!!!
Our first green peppers from our veggie patch! Also makes me so happy!
Pepper my Yorkie thinks he is a cat!!
My poor baby!! He has been so sick!
Brycie taking advantage of the jelly and custard I made for Jamie :)
Caide left to go on his hocky tour to Treverton today.
I have had quite a lot of time to knit while sitting with Jamie and managed to finish my Irish Coffee, I am over the moon with how this one turned out. Can't wait to wear it!
Caide's official tour photo.
Thanks for stopping by today, hope the week ahead is good for you!

Sketch # 73 is up at Sketches in Thyme
So I have been quite busy in the scrapbooking department the last week or so, I think it always helps when you have gotten some new goodies to play with!!
So today I am showing you a double page layout I did for the last sketch challenge for the Month of March over at Sketches in Thyme.
My layout is based on a very special family reunion we had the day after my sister got married.
The title was cut with my Slice machine and the "Home Sweet Home" design card, the patterned paper I used is from the Farmhouse Collection by Cratepaper. I purchased this at the Scrapbook Studio.
Here is the sketch my layout is based on:
So.... I hope you will play along with us, you have until the end of the month to complete your layout. Once you are done, link it HERE. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!!!
Have a fabby weekend! :)

Sketch # 199 at Creative Scrappers
I have always found the sketches at Creative Scrappers awesome, and when I felt like creating a page, I went there in search of inspiration. Of course I found it, in the form of one of their lovely sketches and the DT girls inspirational pages.
Here is the page I created about my youngest son's swimming achievements, I am so happy with the way this one turned out!!!
Here is the sketch, I rotated it to to accommodate my landscape photos!
It's a good one don't you think?!?
So a few of the products I used on my page were part of my purchase from the Scrapbook Studio, the yummy patterned papers, Tim Holtz mask (I LOVE the effect these masks give to a page!), and American Crafts border punch (I can tell this is going to be my new fave!). So go and visit the Scrapbook Studio to see some of the lovely products they stock at excellent prices.
I am off to the doctor shortly, Jamie has a really high temp!!

My Scrapbook Studio haul!!
I had a really good day yesterday, I love getting scrappy goodies in the post. Look at some of the lovely products I received from the Scrapbook Studio!!!
I am so excited to finally be the owner of a Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I have seen this product being used all over blog land, and it works like a charm. I also purchased my first masks (what took me so long!!!), and used one on a layout yesterday, LOVE these so much!! Also loving the new American Crafts "Knock Outs" border punches. I am a huge border punch fan!!!
Look at these gorgeous papers. Aren't the colors simply yummy!! I bought a few sheets and some stickers from the Emma's Shoppe Collection by Crate Paper, so so pretty!!
So why not go and pay the Scrapbook Studio a visit, they have a great range of products (many on special at the moment!!), and they give great service too!! :)
To my crafty friends in South Africa, enjoy the public holiday tomorrow!

Projet Life 12/3-18/3
Thanks for dropping by again this week!!
Jamie = Ray Mesterio, Bryce = Big Show: Doing a wrestling show for Mom. Love it!!
Bryce and his special friend Nadia went around the neighborhood assessing the litter problem for an LO task.
Jamie loves to stack these blocks, and for his age, I think he has a pretty steady hand!! He called me to show me how he was going to knock them down. Very exciting!
It was the Games Evening at the boys school tonight, it is a big fundraiser for the school. Here Debbie (Ray's sister) was helping Jamie play a game.
One of our sweet chickens that lay us the most delicious eggs!
Ray found a good second hand P51 Mustang to replace the one he crashed a few weeks ago.
It was a cooler day today, lovely!! Ray decided to make some Chocolate Clusters from his Mom's recipe. He got very heart sore missing her!
So what did you get up to last week??
The week ahead is going to be a busy, but good one for us. Caide has a leadership course at the school on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. Wednesday is a public holiday for us here in South Africa. Yay mid-week break!! Then on Friday Caide leaves on his Treverton hockey tour, and they break up for their 17 day Easter holiday. Yipeee, happy me!!

Sketch #72 is up at Sketches in Thyme!!
Sorry, I am a bit late in getting this up. We had a Games Evening at the boys school last night, it was a great fundraiser for the school and was so well supported. Needless to say I didn't get any computer time last night. I am feeling rather pooped this morning, but luckily my wonderful "boss" gave me the day off.
Anyway, onto the latest sketch at Sketches in Thyme!! I really enjoyed putting my layout together for this challenge, here it is:
I am really happy with the way this one turned out!!
And here is the gorgeous sketch:
So, we would really LOVE for you to play along with us!! All you need to do is create a layout based on this sketch and link it HERE. You have until the end of the month to do so.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, where ever in the world you may be :)

New color challenge at the Outlawz
The latest color challenge is up at the Outlawz, and because I had some free time on my hands this afternoon, and because I really don't have enough boy cards in my stash, I decided to play along!!!
I used a stamp set from AnnaBelle Stamps for my card (I used to be on the DT there!), and I think this little guy was perfect for the challenge!!
Here is the color challenge that was set for us:
So what do you think? A bright fun boy card to add to my stash!!
Why not become a member over at the Outlawz, it is a really fun and friendly place to hang out!! :)

Project Life Week 5/3- 11/3
WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!!!
My jug of tea and Jamie's little mug!
Hockey club has begun, so on Tuesday and Thursday night it's hockey from 5-6 for Bryce and Caide. Bryce super organised as usual!
Our sweet baby hadeda sat next to my "Jemima Puddleduck" (my MIL who passed last year gave her to me for Christmas a while back, and this is what she named her), asking her for food, it was the sweetest thing ever!
Bryce got to dress as a teacher and go and teach his group of 6 kids about the cow today, doesn't he look so smart?!?
Jamie and I haven't been well for the last 2 days, we have enjoyed the time at home together!
Ray made us curry for the first time, it was delicious!
We had a lovely walk around the Museum and then lunch at Jenny's, it was lovely to spend time together as a family with Bee and Pa!
So how was your week last week?? Can't wait to see!! I hope the week ahead is good for you too, we have had some lovely rain, so I am smiling!! :)
